Lord on the Cross! The people of God comes and knees before You! You have taken our holy mother the Church with You on Your way of the Cross. You have placed her under Your Cross, and Your Blood trickles over her and us.
Behold, we want to gather the Blood from the sacred wounds of Your feet and beseech You: for the sake of Your love, assist our holy mother the Church and guide our Bishops by showing them from the Cross, O Lord, the right path.
We gather the Blood from the sacred wounds of Your hands and beseech You for the sake of your love, hold Your hand over our mother the Church and bless our Holy Father and our Bishops, so that all their words and decisions may bring blessings!
We gather the Blood which trickles down from Your crown of Thorns and beseech You, for the sake of Your love, give our mother the Church the courage to confess the faith, so that the sacred deposit of the faith be preserved.
