The Life of Bl. Valentine Paquay, Confessor, First Order (1828-1905) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Jan 11. Valentine was born in Belgium and as a priest spent much time in the confessional where he exhibited great knowledge of the human heart and was very humble.

Reflection is on confession which was given by Christ and how it is easy and effective.
