The Life of Bl. Nicholas Factor, Confessor, First Order (1520-1583) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Dec 14. Bl. Nicholas Factor was born in Spain, and pious, penitential and generous to the poor from his youth, and entered the Franciscans and preached for the conversion of Muslims who lived in his country. He was given the gift of reading the hearts of others and held positions of authority in the Franciscans.
Reflection is on the observation of the ten commandments and how Nicholas Factor gave an excellent example to follow.
Summary of the duties to God and neighbor.
Observing them should be motivated by the Love of God.
