Fr Ignatius gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Aug 26 where he focuses on the first reading from Joshua on how doing God's will is what will make us happy, but we must decide to do so definitively to serve Him and persevere in this. Father then describes many practices we can employ to strengthen this healthy resolve for our whole family. The Gospel reinforces this need for a definitive decision, particularly regarding the doctrine of the Eucharist which was causing many of His longtime disciples to vacillate. By this daily perseverance we will show that we are worthy of the kingdom of God.
