Christ willed to save us by establishing a Church. According to St. Augustine, it is the whole Christ, Head and Body, the Church united to Christ Jesus, that brings about the redemption of mankind. Because God wills it, we have to do our part, as not only recipients of the Divine Mercy, but by becoming part of that Mercy.
