Views 975

Homily #140303b ( 13min) Play - Fr. Elias comments on the readings of today with the rich young man who went away sad when Our Lord invited him to give everything he had to the poor and how this contrasts to the life of St. Katherine Drexel, a rich young woman, daughter of an American financier, who gave her life and substantial fortune for the betterment of the poor and followed the Lord as a religious sister. Father relates this to the upcoming season of Lent and how we can become less attached to things and more committed to people.
