Homily #121122 ( 10min) Play- Thanksgiving reminds us of turkeys, family gatherings, football, etc., but this is a religious day - giving thanks to God for all the blessings He has given us. The church in the USA has made a this a special day, with its own proper Mass. Thanksgiving is very important - we need to give thanks to God for everything we have. We need to have a spirit of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving and love go hand in hand. The more we thank God the more we love Him.
