I named my angel! I asked my angel to reveal the name and this did happen and confirmations with it.

In NO way am I above my angel! I never ever considered that seeking a name meant I was placing myself higher.

And my spiritual director also has a name for his angel too.

  • Fr. Ignatius says:

    Dear ma,

The Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments published a document in December of 2001 entitled, “The Directory on Popular Piety and the Liturgy”. Paragraph #217 states, “Popular devotion to the Holy Angels, which is legitimate and good, can, however, also give rise to possible deviations: The practice of assigning names to the Holy Angels should be discouraged, except in the cases of Gabriel, Raphael and Michael whose names are contained in Holy Scripture.”

    Ave Maria!
