“The recitation of the Rosary is not obligatory under pain of sin, but what kind of love would limit itself to fulfilling only one’s strict duties, whose neglect of becomes a transgression, even grave? Such a way of acting would seem more like the service of a slave than the love of a son towards his most beloved heavenly Father and the most affectionate Mother. No, this would be unworthy of one who loves Mary! The one who truly loves Her seeks rather the opportunity to go to Her as often as possible, to remain as long as possible at Her feet.” (SK #1102)
