What good would it do if good Bishop Naumann of Kansas City enforces a ban on pro-abortion Governor Sibelius’ reception of Communion if, when she is HHS Secretary, she can receive publicly in Washington? Thankfully, Archbishop Wuerl and Bishop Loverde of Virginia have agreed to back up the enforcement of Canon 915 in DC as well. Maybe the bishop of Maryland had better get on board, to be sure. script” type=”text/javascript” src=”http://rpc.blogrolling.com/display.php?

Ave Maria! Jehovah’s say the Trinity is false because it’s not explicitly in the Bible. Today we show that every point of it’s doctrine is easily found in Sacred Scripture. Ave Maria! |
Ave Maria!– March’s Theme: Imperfections and Sins “The justification of our impiety is such that it can be well said that God showed His power more with our conversion than with drawing from nothing, heaven and earth. [And this is] because there is more opposition between the sinner and the grace than between the nothing and the being. The nothing is less far away than the same sinner. In fact, the nothing, being the privation of the being, has no potentiality to resist the Will of God, whereas the sinner, a being (and a free being at that) can resist every Divine Will. What is more, in creation one deals with the natural order, while in the justification of the impious, one deals with the supernatural and divine order.” |
Ave Maria! Well, it was a busy day! At about 7am we found out that the Judiciary Committee headed by McDonald and Lawlor (who pushed the anti-Catholic bill sb1098 a couple of weeks ago) had another surprise hearing at 12 noon today. We were not the only ones who were surprised. Even Senators and Representatives in the same committee were surprised. This time it was to be the vote on SB899 which is the legislative codification of the Kerrigan Supreme Court of CT case that brought in same-sex ‘marriage’. We rushed to put together our live streaming equipment that was in total disarray from our live streaming of the Youth Pro-life Conference on Saturday. We threw everything into the car, including ourselves and headed off to Hartford, an hour away, only to find out that we had to wait another hour while the committee went into private caucus sessions until 1pm. Although we were caught off guard it seemed that the other side, in favor of the bill, was there in force. We are never out numbered at these events. Seems they got the word and we did not. Funny that! It was the beginning of a difficult, often nauseating day listening to Senators and Representatives squashing every single effort to protect religious liberties (except one) by pummeling those that were proposing very reasonable amendments with thousands of inane questions. The result is that we have about the same protections of our rights to conscientious objections as did Massachusetts where Catholic Charities had to cease their child adoption efforts because the state was forcing them to place kids with same sex couples. Listen to Peter Wolfgang of the Family Institute of CT summarize this disastrous day and how you can help: At least the live streaming worked well, over 1500 viewers. Ave Maria! |

![]() Novena in Honor of the Most Holy Face of Jesus
“I firmly wish that my face reflecting the intimate pains of my soul, the suffering and love of my heart, be more honored! Whoever gazes upon me already consoles me.” (Our Lord Jesus Christ to Sister Pierina)
DAILY PREPARATORY PRAYER O Most Holy and Blessed Trinity, through the intercession of Holy Mary, whose soul was pierced through by a sword of sorrow at the sight of the passion of her Divine Son, we ask your help in making a perfect Novena of reparation with Jesus, united with all His sorrows, love and total abandonment. We now implore all the Angels and Saints to intercede for us as we pray this Holy Novena to the Most Holy Face of Jesus and for the glory of the most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen. Ave Maria! AirMaria will be doing a live-stream from the CT State House, as soon as we can get on the air, for the hearing and a vote on the Senate Bill 899 Judiciary Committee on Same Sex Marriage. Catch us on UStream soon. Ave Maria! |
Ave Maria!– March’s Theme: Imperfections and Sins “Take courage, […] when you feel oppressed by the multitude and the horror of your faults. Then, more than ever, go to the feet of Jesus Christ who battles, agonizes for us in the garden; humble yourself, cry, beg with Him and as Him, and ask with loud cries for mercy, for pardon of your faults, and for the help to always walk before Him. Do thus, and do not doubt that this merciful and clement God will extend to you, as always, His compassionate hand to raise you up from your indigence, from your spiritual desolation.” |

Ave Maria!– March’s Theme: Imperfections and Sins “My soul will grind under the weight of its infidelities towards the Author of life. I know that no one is clean before the Lord, but my uncleanness has no limits in front of Him. In the present state in which the merciful God, in His wisdom and justice, is deigning to lift the veil and manifest to me the hidden faults, in all their maliciousness and ugliness, I see myself so deformed that my very same vestments seem to me to have the horror of my filth.” |

Ave Maria Meditations
from St. Maximilian Kolbe: AIM HIGHER
Intention
1. The perfection of every action depends on the perfection of our intention. 2. One acts and suffers everything joyfully for the Immaculata. Regardless of the unpleasantness we meet in life, let us accept all with the intention of strengthening our love toward the Immaculata. + Suffering Notwithstanding its being paved at times with crosses and sufferings, the way of the Immaculata is not so difficult, so dark, so unclear that we can always feel her motherly warmth. A cross consists of two pieces of wood, crossed at one point. In every day life our cross consists in our will crossing the will of God. In order to remove it, it is necessary to conform ourselves to the will of God. In practice it is necessary that we put off our own will. The saints did not understand life without suffering.for suffering for love nourishes love. (more…) |
