Fr. Today's Gospel reminds us that Jesus wasted no time in His mission to bring healing, salvation, and freedom, showing His deep compassion for humanity's spiritual needs. We are called to follow His example, dedicating our own lives, which are a precious gift, to serving God with zeal through our prayers, sacrifices, and daily witness. The homily also stresses the vital importance of praying for all vocations—to the priesthood, religious life, marriage, and single life—so that more people may dedicate themselves to God's service and help grow His kingdom.
