Fr. Michael portrays Jesus as the true Good Shepherd who providentially uses apostles, priests, missionaries, and all baptized Christians—priests by sacrifice, prophets by bearing witness to the truth, kings by victory over sin—to draw souls to the Church and to heaven. Every saved soul increases our joy. He highlights St. Louis Grignion de Montfort (1673–1716), who overcame social difficulties, failed foundations, and self-doubt to become a missionary priest in rural France. This Marian devotion, rooted in her divine and spiritual motherhood, offers the surest path to union with Christ, perfection, and supernatural grace begun at Baptism. Like de Montfort, we must persevere through human tensions and sacrifices to witness to the truth and entrust our spiritual lives to Mary, allowing God to multiply our meager offerings for His flock's salvation.
