Called to Be Missionaries and Messengers – Dec 09 – Homily – Fr Isidore

 

On the Optional Memorial of St. Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin (Dec 09, 2023), Fr. Isidor M. Cipres gives a list of practical instructions for how to fulfill our Christian mandate, called as we are by our vocation in Christ to be his missionaries and messengers in the world, until he comes again in glory. St. Juan Diego, the visionary of Guadalupe offers a concrete example of the kind of transformation Christians must seek to undergo, in order to become effective evangelists--with appreciation for the "secret" power of Marian consecration--becoming missionaries and messengers for Christ, under the tutelage of his own Mother.
