Fr. Terrance gives the homily at Bloomington, IN, on Sep 05, 2023, where he continues his series "Catechesis on Sexuality," explaining how the Philosophy of Postmodernism philosophy and feminism of Judith Butler, which is in turn based on Nietzsche, are some of the roots of our modern Gender Theory.

Today we continue reflecting on gender ideology. Postmodern feminism builds on existentialism, denying human nature and saying nothing is natural. It claims male/female are social constructs with no real differences. This is spiritually blind and absurd. Judith Butler asserts gender is performance with no essence. Biological sex is a construct. Their goal is to erase gender norms and heterosexuality.

Marxist ideals saturated the sexual revolution literature, calling to abolish family. Language is manipulated as power plays, changing definitions and mandating pronouns to control others. Intersectionalism categorizes people by identity groups, not truth. It proliferates terms and categories endlessly.

They believe everything is a social construct to be deconstructed and reconstructed. They are destroying God's creation of man and woman to create a Frankenstein gender ideology. This is satanic. We must stand for the truth of the sacredness of human nature and sexuality, and follow Mary's guidance.
