Based on the Parable of Publican and the Pharisee, the Publican was justified, not the Pharisee
Only by the grace of God can we do anything pleasing to God
We need to give credit to God, all is a gift from him, and must give thanks
Pharisee gave thanks, but he did not have humility and love in regard to his neighbor
St. Paul, the one who judges me, is the Lord
Sinners can repent and become more humble and pleasing to God.
Seek healing when in front of God, not boasting of his merits and disparaging others.
