Praise of Mary- Sep 20 – Homily – Fr Matthias

 

Fr Matthias gives the homily at Bloomington, IN, on Sep 20, 2022, on how we should praise Mary, Jesus' mother, in light of Luke 8: 19-12, which seems to say otherwise. We must interpret this in the light of the inspired racing of the Chruch. Jesus directed this statement to us, not to his mother, that we should focus on the spiritual virtue of faith and obedience and less on human flesh and blood relationships.
