The life of S. of God Nicholas of Montecorvino & Co, Martyrs, 1st & 3rd Orders (m. 1358) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Apr 11. Nicholas was an apostate in Cairo who was a high official in the Sultan's army. He repented and the Franciscans helped him make his abjuring of Islam which resulted in being martyred.
Reflection is on the evils of scandal, giving bad example, especially in positions of power.
