The life of Bl. John of Penna, Confessor, First Order (1193-1275) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Apr 5. John was born in Penna San Giovanni, Fermo, Italy, and was a preacher who went to France to spread the Order. He had a strong desire to go to God and was told in advance of his death.
