The Life of Bl. Gregory X, Pope, Third Order (d. 1276) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Jan 10. Gregory X was born born Teobaldo Visconti and he preached a crusade but also worked for peace. He was then elected pope where he worked for unity between the East and West churches at the Council of Lyon. He made St. Bonaventure a cardinal.
