The Life of Bl. Peter of Siena, Confessor, Third Order. (d. 1289) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Dec 11. Peter was known for his diligence and rigorous acts of penance. After his wife died he increased his pious practices, took care of many orphans, and grew in love of Our Lord and Lady.
