In this fourth talk, he explains how the sous in purgatory can help us and he uses Tolkien's depiction of the Army of The Dead from The Lord of the Rings to give a dramatic literary example and then gives examples from historical accounts. Then he refers to indulgences, how we can help souls in purgatory, and the requirements involved.
