The Life of Bl. Bonavita (the Blacksmith), Confessor, Third Order (1238-1275) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Nov 11. Bonavita (the Blacksmith) was born a poor person in Lugo, Italy. When he joined the Franciscans he worked as a blacksmith and fed and clothed the poor. He had a very deep prayer life and performed many miracles.

Reflection is on practical Christianity, which is based on love for Christ and neighbor.
