The Life of Bl. Josephine Leroux, Martyr, Second Order (1747-1794) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Oct 21. Bl. Josephine entered a convent and then the French Revolution took place and she was arrested and condemned to death, singing sacred hymns on the way to the guillotine along with her sister and four other fellow martyrs sacrificing her life.

Reflection is on the test of love as exemplified by Bl. Josephine as well as make any number of smaller sacrifices. We must grow lesser and Jesus must grow greater in our hearts
