The Life of Bl. James of Strepar, Bishop, First Order (d. 1409) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Oct 19. James of Strepar was born in Poland, was a missionary in Russia, and was made a bishop in Poland shepherding with great prudence. He had a devotion to Mary and the Blessed Sacrament.

Reflection is on the veneration of Mary which brings harmony to our world. Being a child of Mary makes us a brother of Christ. This devotion blessees all missionary work.
