The Life of "Bl." Robert Malatesta, Confessor, Third Order (d. 1432) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Oct 13. Robert Malatesta was a nobleman who lead a penitential life-giving much to the poor and married a pious wife and entered the Third Order. He had many mystical experiences and there were many miracles at his tomb.
Reflection is on wearing the Scapular of the Third Order, by which are recognized as a member of the third order.
