The Life of S. of God Therese of Chicago, Virgin, Third Order (d. 1918) for the Franciscan Saint of the Day for Sep 19. Mother Therese was born Josephine Dudzik and started a branch of Third Order Franciscans in Chicago called the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago that focused on taking care of the elderly and education.
