Fr Terrance gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Aug 28, 2021, on how Satan's strategy is related to the Parable of the Talents. How we make use of the talents and resources that God gives us will determine whether we advance the kingdom of God or the kingdom of Satan. God wants us to be faithful in small matters, trusting God and this is all He wants to open up more gifts for us and to enable us to do ever greater things for the kingdom of God and receive eternal rewards. Satan wants us to distrust God and judge Him and be centered on ourselves, sowing division and bitterness, thus creating a hell on earth and for eternity.
