Fr Terrance gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Jun 10, 2021, on how God is perfectly just, always giving people what is due and that this is solely because of His generosity and liberality since he does not owe anyone anything.  This is a continuation of Father's Divine Attributes series. He covers the difference between retributive justice and punitive justice and how justice is based on how well we use our free will.
He explains how Christ reconciles his justice and mercy on the Cross, during his crucifixion, where he mercifully takes onto himself the just punishment of our sins. He also explains the flood of Noah. Reflecting on this helps us to have hope in our spiritual life, knowing that God's justice takes into account all of our weaknesses if we admit this sinfulness to Him as St. Therese teaches. Lastly, he recommends that we ask Mary, the Mother of Justice, for the grace to be made perfect in love which will cast out all fear.
