O mighty and eternal Father, we acknowledge Jesus Christ as the true King of kings and Lord of lords and “that at the Name of Jesus every knee shall bend, of those in heaven and on earth.” (Phil 2:10) In His Name, we beg You to have mercy on our nation and save our country. We offer our prayers and sacrifices in reparation for all the sins of our people. We pray for the immediate conversion of all our leaders and citizens that have need of it. We thank You for the privilege and Christian duty to vote and vote correctly according to a well formed Catholic conscience. Please unite all Christians and every citizen of goodwill at this critical moment.
You are the source of our inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We beg You to give us a president and elected officials and judges who uphold, protect, and promote life from conception to natural death, and true religious liberty.
Glorious Saint Joseph, as you had to escape from a king to protect the baby Jesus, help our nation to escape from any candidate, judge, or policy that will not protect the unborn who are the poorest of the poor. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
