The Life of Bl. Angelina of Marsciano, Widow, Third Order (1357-1435) for the July 13th Franciscan Saint of the Day. Bl. Angelina was married and widowed at a young age and she decided to dedicate her life to God. After experiencing some evangelical success in the kingdom of Naples with a group of her women followers she came into conflict with authorities and, although exonerated, left for Foligno where she started a Franciscan Third Order community that numbered sixteen houses in various towns.

Reflection is on how embracing the cross of Christ is necessary for success in religious endeavors.
