Fr Ignatius gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Jun 12, 2020, on how our destiny is to see the Face of God and this is accomplished by following the moral law. In the first reading, Elijah was given a vision of God on the same mountain that Moses saw the Lord and was given the ten commandments. In the Gospel, the Lord Jesus makes his appearance on a mountain to teach about the new, higher, more demanding law as compared to Moses, but which will enable us to see His face for all eternity.
