In the homily on Monday of the Fifth Week in Ordinary Time (Feb 10, 2020 – St. Scholastica, Virgin), Fr. Alan reflects on the readings, comparing the old and the new religion of the Covenant, focused first in the Temple of Solomon, and later in the Person of Jesus Christ. Father draws a lesson: the health Christ offers is meant to be that of true religion, which unites man to God in this life and in the next, manifested both exteriorly through public worship and works of charity, and interiorly through the life of union with Christ.
