From Doubt to Declaration: “My Lord and my God!” – Jul 03 – Homily – Fr Matthias

In the homily for the Feast of St. Thomas, Apostle (Jul 03, 2019), Fr. Matthias explains how St. Thomas saw and touched Jesus, discovering the deepest, most consoling meaning of Jesus' astonishing Resurrection: the same Jesus who laid down His life took it back up again. If we ever doubt, let us be moved with St. Thomas to faith and confess it with the declaration: “My Lord and my God.”

Jesus Christ, the Author of Life, possesses life absolutely--it cannot be taken away from Him--and He shares it with all those who believe and live in Him.
