Pentecost: Want the Holy Spirit? What to do. – Jun 09 – Homily – Fr Andre

 

On the Solemnity of Pentecost (Jun 09, 2019), Fr. Andre explains what we need to do if we want the Holy Spirit to work more powerfully in our life.

Two things in particular: we need to recognize the intimate union between the Holy Spirit in our soul and the maternal and missionary action of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, and thus intensify our relationship with the Holy Spirit through Mary; secondly, we need to rid our soul of that which repels the Holy Spirit—sin—by repenting and making a good, sacramental confession.
