Even many of Jesus' own followers left him when he clearly taught the doctrine of the real presence and how we must east his flesh and drink his blood. We must trust that His doctrines will make sense even if they are hard to understand at first. Father explains how this is related to the Cross and how we must be patient in all doctrinal difficulties, old and new.
