Inherit the Eternal Kingdom, Starting Now – Apr 24 – Homily – Fr Matthias

 

In the homily for Wednesday of Easter Week (Apr 24), Fr. Matthias reflects on the entrance antiphon of the Mass, and that with the Resurrection of Christ we have entrance and membership in His kingdom, now.

God makes Himself present to us, in history, here and now. Our hope of an inheritance that transcends the present temporal existence lies in the historical fact of Jesus' life, death and Resurrection: the accomplishment of our Redemption.
