Fr. Matthias gives the homily at New Bedford on the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children (Jan 22, anniversary of Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that "legalized" abortion). Father points out that the term "unexpected pregnancy" is frequently employed as ab justification for the taking of innocent human lives in their mothers' wombs, but the truth is that abortion has been legalized precisely because pregnancy is an expected outcome of irresponsible and immoral sexual behavior.
