On the Memorial of St. Raymond of Pennafort (Dominican, priest - Jan 07), Fr Maximilian relates the Gospel message of repentance to the life of St. Raymond and to our own call to belong to Jesus' Kingdom of Heaven. We are created and placed in this life as a test, to prove our fidelity to God and His holy will; Jesus tells us what we need to do to achieve victory in this trial: repent, be converted, and follow the Gospel.
