Prepare for the Light – Dec 09 – Homily – Fr Terrance

 

Fr Terrance gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Dec 09, the Second Sunday in Advent and how we need to prepare for the coming of the Light of Christ even when the darkness seems unending and the way ahead seems difficult.  He uses the first reading from Baruch written at the time of the Babylonian exile and the psalm 126 which describes their return and finally he quotes the Letter of Diognetus written toward the end of the Roman persecutions on how the world hates the Christians despite that fact that Christians love all people.
