Holy Communion on the Tongue – Dec 05 – Homily – Fr Matthias

 

In the homily today (Wednesday in the 1st Week in Advent, Dec 05), Fr. Matthias relates today's Gospel to Advent and to the miracle of transubstantiation. God who became Man remains with us in the Holy Eucharist, even in the smallest fragments of the Eucharist. As an act of faith His presence, the Church encourages the faithful to receive Him with the greatest reverence, love and devotion possible.
