4 Comings of Christ – Dec 02 – Homily – Fr Terrance
Views 1434
Fr Terrance gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Dec 02 on how during Advent we should focus on preparing more for Christ the person rather than for Christmas the celebration. Preparing for Christ involves preparing for Christmas and participating in the Christmas liturgy and celebration but it also means preparing for his second coming in glory should we be alive when this occurs. There is also the third coming of Christ at the end of our lives after we take our last breath. Father mentions yet a fourth coming where Christ comes to us in the mass in the Eucharist. Father relates this to the general history of salvation centered on God's meekness and mercy and that we should respond by preparing our hearts to be like His.
