Great aerial footage of our friary at Mount St. Francis Hermitage in New York with a fresh covering of snow as the friars there appeal for further help in keeping this beautiful place open. Although they are short handed, the place has never looked better, a testimony to their hard work and dedication.
In May of 1974, Mount St. Francis Hermitage was founded as a place of retreat; a place to withdraw and speak with God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the angels and all the saints, as did St. Francis of Assisi.
There are only 3 of us friars assigned to this friary, this means we are having difficulty in maintaining the up keep. If you would like to help keep this beautiful place going please let us know. God bless and Ave Maria!
