Fr Alan gives the homily on Oct 30 (Tuesday in the 30th Week in Ordinary Time), expounding on St. Paul's teaching regarding Christian sacramental marriage (Eph 5:21-33), pointing out that the widespread misunderstanding and rejection of this teaching is due to contemporary prejudices arising from the dominant ideology of radical feminism. Father draws on St. John Paul II's theology of the body teachings to show how Ephesians 5:21-33 is not anti-woman, but rather pro-humanity and pro-family, and reflects the divinely inspired sense of male-female complementarity.
