Sep 04 – Homily – Fr Alan: God’s Work, in St. Rose of Viterbo

 

The remarkable life and works of the young, virgin saint, Rose of Viterbo, illustrate that sanctification is primarily the "work of God" (opus Dei). As we celebrate the secular Labor Day, let us acknowledge the dignity and value of labor, and remember that our progress in holiness consists largely in not obstructing God's work in us.
