Sep 08 – Homily – Fr Ignatius: Beauty and Coming of the Mother of God

Views 1084

Fr. Ignatius reflects on the attributes of being: goodness, truth, and beauty, and how they can be attributed respectively to the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He notes that beauty tends to be feminine, underscoring how St. Maximilian Kolbe called Mary the quasi-incarnation of the Holy Spirit and how her fullness of grace coming into the world is the beginning of the dawn of the Son of Justice. Father relates this to things of this world including music, and even Christians, especially those consecrated to Our Lady.
