The life of this Queen, Widow and Third Order Franciscan was marked by a gift for bringing about peace between people at odds with each other. The peace she radiated came from her union with God, and by extending that bond of charity to neighbor, peace expanded. We are called to a similar work, to help reconcile our brothers with the Prince of Peace.
