Jun 30 – Homily – Fr Elias: Perseverance and Martyrdom

Fr. Elias on the first Martyrs of Rome and how their testimony in their own blood is the seed of the Church. He exhorts us to be witnesses by persevering in the little things, living a good Christian life. This is not only a great witness in itself, but also the best preparation for the highest witness of martyrdom. He also gives an account of the life of St. Raymond Lull who was a Franciscan martyr of a much later day.
