Sep 13 – Homily – Fr Peter: Sacrificing with Jesus

Homily #150913l ( 15min) Play - Fr. Peter relates the two readings today for the Traditional Latin Mass. First, St. Paul prays to the Father that his flock be strengthened during times of difficulties so that they can unite themselves to Christ and offer their sacrifices to the Father in order to not miss out in the glory that this receives. He connects this self sacrificial theme to the Gospel reading where Jesus denounces climbing to the first place at the table. Father points to Mary as exemplar at practicing this humble sacrificing.
