Fr. Paul Check, the Executive Director of Courage, gives the opening keynote address at the 2015 Courage Conference at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Il. He reflects on "The Secret of Life”, that the meaning of life is to prepare for everlasting life with our Lord, to love and be loved by him for all eternity. Father makes an analogy between development of our natural life to the development of our supernatural, spiritual life. Just as we educate our minds and exercise our bodies, we should also work on developing the grace God gave us at Baptism and how the exercise of selfless charity toward our neighbor builds our charity to the Lord and then he helps us to love even more.
