Alan gives the background of the feast of the Presentation of Mary where the elderly parents of Mary presented her as a young child to the priests at the Temple to live there and do service through her youth. He exhorts us to give ourselves spiritually to Holy Mother Church in a similar manner even to the point of becoming a priest, religious brother or nun.
